Meet Dr. Dusty Looker

Dr. Dusty is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, where he grew up playing baseball and developed an early passion for movement and sports performance. He went on to play one year of college baseball before transitioning into competitive CrossFit, further deepening his interest in strength, conditioning, and injury prevention.

Dr. Dusty earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise, Sport, and Movement Sciences and later completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. His clinical approach incorporates a wide range of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Chiropractic Biophysics, Thompson, Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Activator, along with soft tissue therapies such as cupping, scraping, stretching, and physical therapy based exercises.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions and answers.

What To Expect

No, you will not be required to sign a contract and compliance with whatever recommendations we make is completely up to you.

You will need to fill out an intake form that includes your primary complaint as well as any other areas of concern. From there you will be tested with orthopedic tests to eliminate any contraindications to being adjusted. Once the root cause of the complaints is located and adjustments are indicated, you will be adjusted followed by soft tissue work to allow for healing in the areas of complaint. On the way out you will receive a complimentary shirt as a thank you for trusting Looker Spine and Sport.

Once the initial complaint is treated and you’re no longer experiencing these symptoms it is the perfect opportunity to transition into maintenance care. This could mean spacing out visits a little more or just using each visit as an opportunity to focus on secondary or tertiary complaints. This is highly recommended to avoid any rebounding symptoms and to treat issues in an acute stage that are more difficult to live with.

This will depend on the patient’s complaints and symptoms. Some people, in rare cases may require multiple visits a week, but for most patients I recommend weekly visits based on sport and activity levels.
